Goodbye my love, my only mistake!

Looking at the night sky
as many lonely hours pass by
not a breath escaped
without thinking of you
not a wish gone without
hoping for love true

Time is a fairweather friend like you
it all started so well
when you said, " I am stuck on you"
Leaving me lost now, when all was set by you
Now it looks like all faults are mine
You were the perpetrator , and I pay the fine

Truely, love is blind, and true love hard to find
Now stuck in this dark zone
I see no hope, I see your heart of stone!
Goodbye my love, my only mistake
For I have nothing to offer, nothing for you to take!

Hey Sam...

How are you doing?

Life is good. A little busy but kinda enjoying it too. So no worries.

That's the thing about Love stories, isn't it? They can go just two ways, one with the happily ever after or the never after. Whoever you are talking about I hope he has reached the forgive and forget stage. There are things in life that just can't be. Love can be one of them

Just a caution though, the poem's mine but the experience isn't!

Hi, Phoenix,

Saw your message in my blog today. That's right it's been quite a long time. Well, something came up at home which kept me busy. Anyway, thank you for the lovely message you left for me.. warms the heart so. :-)

You say it so true >> "..choices are of two types, one's that we make and the one's we are already been chosen for." Truly God's design can never be superimposed by man's design. Our human choices rise from the set plan of God for our life. We are expected to make good in our choices as it will ultimately define success or failure for ourselves in our life journey. And tied up with every choice or decision are learning moments meant for our own good. I guess people know that already but somehow just sort of forget sometimes. So they just need a little nudge to get them back on track again. :-) Wise is the person who takes heed...pays attention.

Btw, I opted for this poem/blog (not the most recent one) as I was so impressed by the beautiful poem - your poem. I like it so much -- so simple and yet hits home. :-)

Take care now. Hope that you're having a good week. God bless you and your family.
